What experience does Dave Stasiuk bring?
Dave Stasiuk is the founder of Spectrum Veterinary Imaging, and brings more than 30 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience across human and veterinary medicine.
His background includes abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, vascular imaging, radiography, clinical education, quality assurance and equipment optimization, along with the development of advanced imaging programs and clinical workflows.
His career has also included senior clinical and applications experience with industry-leading organizations including Mindray Medical and GE Medical Systems.
The service he built, and what it became
In 2016, Dave founded and developed an independent mobile veterinary ultrasound service in Calgary.
He built its clinical service model, referral relationships, reporting pathways, and the delivery of advanced abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography.
That service model remains in active use today. It has also helped shape and support the development of similar veterinary ultrasound services in other parts of Canada.
Since then he has developed extensive clinical ultrasound experience focused on high-quality image acquisition, efficient service delivery, and close collaboration with referring veterinarians and the broader veterinary care team.
