What are IVUSS
standards?
IVUSS is the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society, whose standards inform how Spectrum acquires and documents a study.
In practice that means studies are acquired as complete examinations to a rigorous, standardized protocol, with the views and measurements a specialist needs in order to interpret and report.
Spectrum is currently progressing through the IVUSS veterinary ultrasound certification pathway.

Standardized acquisition
Every study follows the same protocol, so findings are comparable and complete.

Specialist interpretation
Reporting is provided by a board-certified veterinary radiologist, cardiologist, or an IVUSS-certified veterinarian.
